“Growth” Hoodie
A combination of illustration and photography. I was originally going to college as a fine art photography major, which obviously didn’t turn into much. Drawing was once my hobby while photo work was my career goal. Which is funny because those two have now flip flopped.
I wanted to incorporate a photo element into this design that I took while in Japan over the summer. Both to show where I am now, but where I was 15 years ago as an aspiring photographer. I also wanted to bring back my use of text in my work, which my early illustrations were largely centered around.
Not only is this stupidly comfortable (shout out to AsColour for the blanks), but it’s a very meaningful design as a whole to me. I hope you like it as much as I do.
Much love to Danger Press in Atlanta for always being down to collaborate with me.
